Fantastic Location, Amazing views from the apartment. Loved sitting watching the boats coming and going, especially the luxurious yachts just by our window. The apartment has everything you need. One double bedroom and the second bunk bed room which was large enough for my teenage daughter and friend. We ate out most of the time, but the kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal with a large fridge for those important bottles of wine! Everything is within walking distance, the restaurants, shops, supermarkets and beaches. Great for boat trips and walks to the Calanques, plus lucky enough to be there when the Tour de France passed by! Also within easy reach of Marseille by public transport for a day trip. Great for a holiday without a car and easy to reach by train from the UK if you don't like flying. Victor who looks after the apartment was easy to contact and meet us as agreed. Thanks Anthony, we plan to have a return visit in the future.

We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in the Lighthouse Apartment! We found the apartment excellently located - with magnificent views of the harbor, Cap Canaille and – of course – the lighthouse. Everything you need you can find within easy walking distance. The apartment is cosy, well appointed and has a full kitchen. Anthony was very pleasant and prompt with his e-mail replies and also Victor, the contact person, was very pleasant and most helpful.

We will return next year!

My husband and I have stayed there 6 times over the past 3-4 years. We love it. The apartment is exactly as described, right on the port, and oh, those marvelous views are right there in front of you. It's breathtaking. One doesn't ever have to go out, just sit and watch the fishing boats go in and out, watch the "mayor of the port", a jack russell dog on one of the boats...watch the sunset over the lighthouse...we saw fireworks at the lighthouse one May, and we had the best seats! The apartment has a full kitchen so you can go to the market twice a week, get fish from the man selling it right on the port below you, can't get fresher than that! You can walk along the port at night, or walk to the Calanques and have a picnic. There are many beaches within walking distance. The restaurants are right there on the port. It can be as peaceful or as full of sports/activities as you like. The apartment is comfortable, not fancy, but perfect for two people or even more, there's a second bedroom as well. A lovely piece of paradise.

We have just spent a week in this beautiful lighthouse apartment in Cassis. Although it is minimal in size it met our needs completely. The view is absolutely spectacular, the location perfect and this gorgeous fishing town oozes beauty both natural and man made. A day spent on a boat in the nearby Calanques was our best day yet in 6 weeks of travel as the scenery is breathtaking and swimming off the back of the boat so exciting and fun.

With three kids the apartment was a little bit small but was certainly made up for in faultless panoramic views of the gorgeous town. This apartment would be perfect for a family with two kids. I would love to stay again and will highly recommend to others.

My husband and I spent a week in May 2011 at this charming apartment right on the waterfront in the majical town of Cassis. The apartment was everything advertised with super clean and modern Scandanvian style kitchen and decorating touches. The views from the dining room and the balcony off the second bedroom are spectacular - we spent hours just looking at the port and lighthouse directly outside as well as at the magnificant Cape Canille mountain which fills the picture window and balcony. We are both artists and we painted right from the balcony - in fact someone came along and photographed my "French" painter/husband! It was a great pleasure to be able to walk downstairs and stroll along the quay rather than have to navigate getting into town for dinner from some remote location. After only a few days at this heavenly place, I emailed the owner to see when we could return. Also, Victor was very pleasant and helpful when he showed us around the apartment and gave us an orientation to Cassis. The owner also provides a list of good restaurants and the diary of people who have written their comments is also helpful. The Wifi worked without a hitch. We loved it and would heartily recommend it to anyone - but please don't everyone book in because there won't be room for us to return!!

we are back in Germany and still so sad, that we had to leave Cassis.... We really, really enjoyed the week in your appartment! The view is just amazing and one of the best in the whole town. The rooms are cosy und we liked the style they are furnited. We cooked a lot and were suprised, how well the kitchen is equiped - in total a wonderful relaxing and inspiring vacation with a lot of hiking in the beautiful calanques, great food und good cassis wine.

Maybe it was not the last time...

J ai loue l appartement de Mr Franklin en mars dernier et ca a ete un sejour inoubliable.Celui ci est idealement situe face a la mer avec une vue incroyable sur le cap canaille ainsi que le port de cassis. De plus a notre arrivee il y avait une tres bonne bouteille de rose de cassis, ce qui nous a fait nous sentir comme a la maison apres de longue heures de route.L appartement a garde tout le charme des maisons traditionnelles de provence et l equipement de celui ci etait parfait, il ne manquait rien.Nous avons passe un moment merveilleux et inoubliable dans ce lieu hors du commun. Nous esperons de tout coeur y passer d autres moments.

My wife and I stayed in the Lighthouse Apartment in late June of 2008, and it was one of the most enjoyable weeks of our lives together. The apartment is large, the view is spectacular, the beach (5-minutes walk away) is good, and the groceries and bakeries well-stocked with delicious food. In other words, it was everything promised in the description and more!
